LCMC, LLEU Ink New CBA

BAGUIO CITY – After four negotiation meetings that started December 2016, the Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company (LCMC) and the Lepanto Local Employees Union (LLEU) signed a two-year Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) on March 25, 2017 at Baguio Country Club.

SAFETY FIRST: LCMC 1.5 million man-hours without LTA

Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company’s mine underground and surface operations reached 1.5 Million man-hours without lost-time accident (LTA) on July 18, 2016 and they are aiming to attain 2 Million man-hours without LTA by August 28, 2016.

Lepanto spearheads benefit concert for fire victims

Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company spearheaded a benefit concert last January 28, 2017 at the CPJ Theater to help the victims of the fire that destroyed 12 buildings and affected 18 families along Aurora St. in Poblacion, Mankayan, Benguet on the evening of December 22, 2016.

Lepanto Scholars Pass Licensure Exams

Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company’s educational assistance program (LEAP)  produced 29 new professionals  as 18  teachers, six  criminologists, three nurses,  one mining engineer, and one forester hurdled their respective 2016 licensure examinations last year
